Abandoned Vehicles
If a vehicle appears to be abandoned in your street, you can report it on (01446) 700111 or by emailing email contactonevale@valeofglamorgan.gov.uk
You will usually be asked for details such as the vehicle's location, how long it has been there, its registration number, and the make, model and colour.
We have to investigate all vehicles before we can remove them, however, which takes time. Ownership details are not always available, as DVLA are not kept informed of all vehicle transfers, so removal can take some time.
If a vehicle is parked in a dangerous position, and / or causing an obstruction, this should be reported to the police, who have powers to act.
