Sully to deter unwanted tradesmen. A public awareness campaign will be key and there will be a week in the summer dedicated to home security with road shows planned for all areas of the Vale.
Last year many police community support officers were trained to conduct home surveys following a domestic burglary and in 2007/08 it is planned to train more officers and also partners working within the Safer Vale to provide this service and support.
The Safer Vale Partnership will also look to develop other initiatives to promote public awareness around burglary with the emphasis on prevention and detection.
