The Vale of Glamorgan Council CCTV Control Room is staffed 24hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year by fully trained and licensed CCTV operators.

The Operators strictly adhere to all aspects of the Code of Practice, which pays particular attention to the Data Protection Act 1998, the Human Rights Act 1998 and the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

The CCTV opperators are in direct communication with the South Wales Police. This allows the operators to react accordingly and relay accurate information directly South Wales Police.
