Community Messaging

What is community messaging?
Being aware of local problems and police appeals can make a real difference in keeping yourself and your local community safe and informed. Community messaging is a targeted messaging service that allows the Safer Vale Partnership to inform the public about crimes and request information on a local level.

By subscribing to the service you will have the opportunity to be actively involved in supporting the Safer Vale Partnership the work they do.

Community messaging allows you to find out about your next PACT (Partnership and Communities Together) community meeting and also updates you as to what the Partnership is doing regarding issues affecting your local area.  There are also frequent statically updates of local crime trends.

How does it work?
Community Messaging is a system whereby messages can be sent to specific recipients via telephone, email text or fax.  Once you have subscribed you will receive messages (via your preferred method), about the areas you have requested to be informed around.

If following an appeal you have any information or are able to help in any way, please contact us as soon as possible via the contact number provided in the message.

Further details about selecting a preferred contact method and times please refer to the community messaging form.

If you would like to subscribe, please complete the online form click here or you can fill in the community messaging form appendix 2.a
